This Privacy Policy explains how Déjà Vu Limousine ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (the "PDPA"). It applies to personal data collected through this website and through our enquiry and messaging channels.
1. Who we are
Déjà Vu Limousine (UEN 53463010C) is a premium chauffeur and limousine service based in Singapore, providing airport transfers, hourly chauffeur service, corporate and VIP transport, cross-border transfers to Johor Bahru, coach charter and wheelchair-accessible transport.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to serve you and to respond to you:
• Booking details. The details of your trip when you book: date and time, pick-up and drop-off addresses, the number of passengers and pieces of luggage, the passenger names you give us and, for airport arrivals, your flight number.
• Accessibility needs. For wheelchair transport, any information about mobility needs that you choose to share, so that we can send a suitable vehicle.
• Corporate accounts. For companies, hotels and travel agencies that open an account, the name of the company and the contact and billing details of the person managing the account.
• Contact form, WhatsApp, email and telephone. The contact details and information you share with us in those messages.
• Your use of this website. Technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 9).
3. How we use personal data
• To arrange, confirm and carry out your booking, including assigning a chauffeur and a vehicle.
• To monitor flights for airport pick-ups, so that your chauffeur arrives at the right time.
• To quote fares, issue invoices and manage corporate billing.
• To reply to your enquiries and keep you informed about your trip.
• To reply to your questions and feedback.
• To operate, secure and improve this website and our service.
• To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Consent and withdrawal
By submitting a form on this website or contacting us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for the purposes in section 3. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (section 12). We will tell you the likely consequences of withdrawal, for example that we may no longer be able to provide a service you asked for, and we will process your request within a reasonable time.
5. Promotional messages
We send promotional messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, and we observe the Do Not Call provisions of the PDPA. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or by contacting us.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data only where needed for the purposes above, or where required or permitted by law, including to:
• Service providers who support our operations, such as WhatsApp (messaging and bookings), and our website host, analytics and email providers. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own terms.
• Government and regulatory authorities, where required by law.
7. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
8. Protection and retention
We protect personal data with reasonable security arrangements against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required for legal or business reasons, after which we delete or anonymise it.
9. Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly and to help us understand how it is used. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the website may then not work as intended.
10. Access and correction
You may ask to access the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year, and ask us to correct any error or omission. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the fee before we process it. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Data breaches
If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will notify you and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
